The Dark Tower will stand out as one of the best and most fun we have had reading and then discussing a book series with you all. It shall be sorely missed. This book was such a nice and not so abrupt ending for the Book Reviews Kill Dark Tower journey. We shall be pondering these books and the layers of depth woven throughout for many years to come. We thankee for joining us, it wouldn't have been the same without you. As will our next series and our next and our next after that, as much like the point of this series, it is not really about the destination, but the journey. The road has been a long one for the Ka'tet. An odd morose joins our hosts Evan and Chad for as they end this epic journey, the long shadow of the tower blocking the sun. Sojourn: The Legend of Drizzt: Dark Elf Trilogy, Book 3

Everything must end: the good, the bad, the interesting and mundane. The wheel of time stops for no woman, man, elf, dwarf, halfing or svirfneblin. While some tales end and quickly fading into legend, others mark merely another beginning.
Sojourn marks the first of many endings for the heroes of Faerun. Drizzt Do’Urden and his faithful companions: grief and loss, catch their first glimpse of the fertile and hope-filled soil left by the fire of change. For the first time Drizzt allows himself to hope that he may have found where he belongs as the fresh buds of friendship and opportunity poke through the ashes of his old life. He will never forget the people or places that made him but with a smile reflected in his scimitars he no longer will allow where he came from to direct where he goes. Drizzt Do'Urden claims his future for himself and sets forth to forge the destiny he wants and become someone he can be proud of.
